• Analytics & Performance (opt-in). When enabled we set a short-lived analytics session cookie and collect device, connection, and Core Web Vitals data so we can understand site speed and reliability. IP addresses are hashed with SHA-256 before storage; raw IPs are never written to our database.
• Functional Interaction Tracking (opt-in). Uses the same analytics session identifier to log click targets, scroll depth, navigation flows, and UI engagement for user-experience research.
• Marketing & Conversions (opt-in). Allows us to log specific goal completions (e.g., newsletter signup, purchase) using the window.MJKAnalytics.trackConversion helper, including optional monetary values.

3. Storage Inventory & Lifespans

The following items may be stored in your browser:

• mjk_privacy_consent (cookie + localStorage, 30 days) – saves your consent selections so we can honor them on every page.
• mjk_analytics_session (cookie, 30 minutes) – anonymous session identifier used only after you enable the analytics/functional/marketing categories.
• isSubscribed (cookie, 30 days) – hides the newsletter form after you subscribe.
• musicPlayerTermsAccepted (cookie, 365 days) – records that you agreed to the music player terms before using the player.
• stripe_cart & stripe_cart_timestamp (localStorage, 2 hours) – keep your store cart items during checkout sessions.
• misterjk_admin_session (HTTP-only cookie, expires at logout/expiry) – authenticates authorized staff in the admin dashboard; it is not set for regular visitors.

4. Managing Your Consent

Optional categories default to off. You can opt in or withdraw consent at any time via the privacy banner, the "Manage Privacy Preferences" button in the footer, or by clearing the mjk_privacy_consent cookie. If you disable cookies through your browser entirely, essential features—such as the cart, player gate, or consent preferences—may stop working.

5. Do Not Sell/Share & No Third-Party Ad Cookies

All analytics and conversion data is collected and stored by us on our own infrastructure (via /api/analytics/track and Supabase). We do not allow advertising networks or social widgets to set their own cookies through this Site. The footer includes a "Do Not Sell/Share My Personal Info" button that immediately disables all non-essential categories and applies essential-only mode.
