MSTRJK Entertainment Group, Co. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") uses first-party cookies and local storage on mstrjk.com (the "Site") to run core features, remember your preferences, and—only with your explicit permission—measure analytics and functional interactions. This Cookies Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies we use, why we use them, how long we keep them, and how you can manage your preferences.

We are committed to transparency and compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), ePrivacy Directive, California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and similar laws. We do not allow third-party ad trackers, advertising networks, or cross-site behavioral cookies on our Site.

1. What are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that your browser stores on your device. Local storage is a similar browser-based storage mechanism. Both allow us to remember information between visits, such as whether you have accepted certain terms or opted into analytics.

2. Categories of Cookies & Storage

We group our storage into four categories. Optional categories are off by default and can be changed through the privacy banner or the "Manage Privacy Preferences" link in the footer.

  • Essential Operations (always on). Required to remember your consent choices, keep your newsletter state, and maintain secure admin sessions. Blocking them will prevent key features from functioning.
  • Analytics & Performance (opt-in). When enabled we set a short-lived analytics session cookie and collect device, connection, and Core Web Vitals data so we can understand site speed and reliability. IP addresses are hashed with SHA-256 before storage; raw IPs are never written to our database.
  • Functional Interaction Tracking (opt-in). Uses the same analytics session identifier to log click targets, scroll depth, navigation flows, and UI engagement for user-experience research.
  • Marketing & Conversions (opt-in). Allows us to log specific goal completions (e.g., newsletter signup) using the window.MJKAnalytics.trackConversion helper.

3. Storage Inventory & Lifespans

The following items may be stored in your browser:

  • mjk_privacy_consent (cookie + localStorage, 30 days) – saves your consent selections so we can honor them on every page.
  • mjk_analytics_session (cookie, 30 minutes) – anonymous session identifier used only after you enable the analytics/functional/marketing categories.
  • isSubscribed (cookie, 30 days) – hides the newsletter form after you subscribe.
  • misterjk_admin_session (HTTP-only cookie, expires at logout/expiry) – authenticates authorized staff in the admin dashboard; it is not set for regular visitors.

We do not stream audio on the Site and do not operate an on-site store, so we do not set music-player or shopping-cart cookies.

4. Managing Your Consent

Optional categories default to off. You can opt in or withdraw consent at any time via the privacy banner, the "Manage Privacy Preferences" button in the footer, or by clearing the mjk_privacy_consent cookie. If you disable cookies through your browser entirely, essential features—such as your consent preferences—may stop working.

5. Do Not Sell/Share & No Third-Party Ad Cookies

All analytics and conversion data is collected and stored by us on our own infrastructure (via /api/analytics/track and Supabase). We do not allow advertising networks or social widgets to set their own cookies through this Site. The footer includes a "Do Not Sell/Share My Personal Info" button that immediately disables all non-essential categories and applies essential-only mode.

6. Your Rights Under GDPR & CCPA/CPRA

EU/EEA/UK Users (GDPR): You have the right to:

  • Access information about cookies and data collected
  • Withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Request deletion of data collected through cookies
